How do I answer questions with math symbols?
On typed-answer questions a symbol toolbar appears above the answer box — tap
to insert symbols like π, √, or powers. You can also type the plain form
(e.g. x^7 for x⁷, pi for π); both are accepted.
How do duels work?
In the Arena, enter another player's email to challenge them to a 1‑v‑1 on a
chosen category. Both players answer the same question; the fastest correct
answer wins. You'll get a notification when it's your turn or the duel ends.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Notifications are optional. You can enable or disable them any time in your
device Settings → Notifications → Equation X.
Does Equation X cost anything?
No. Equation X is currently free: after you sign in you can answer every
available challenge, earn points and play 1‑v‑1 duels without paying, and the
app has no ads. If you subscribed to Equation X Premium in an
earlier version, your subscription is no longer needed — you can cancel it in
your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
How do I cancel an earlier subscription, and do I get a refund?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel in your
App Store or Google Play subscription settings
(Profile → Subscription → Manage subscription takes you there). Cancelling stops
future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies — we can't issue
them ourselves. Deleting your Equation X account does not cancel
the subscription.
An older version of the app still shows a subscription screen.
Update Equation X from the App Store or Google Play — the current version is
free. If you can't update yet and you subscribed before, tap
Restore Purchases on that screen while signed into the same App Store /
Google Play account you bought with. If it still doesn't unlock, email us with the
account email you used.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap “Forgot password?” and follow the emailed link.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your
profile, stats, history and subscription status record. Cancel your
subscription in the App Store or Google Play first — deleting the account
doesn't stop the store from renewing it. If you can't access the app, email
contact@khenitech.com and we'll
delete your account data within 30 days. A small amount of data held by our
service providers — app install events, crash reports and analytics — is keyed
to your device rather than your account and isn't removed this way; the
Privacy Policy
explains exactly what that covers.
