These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Equation X (“the app”) — listed as “Equation X: Math Brain Games” on Google Play and “Equation X Academy” on the App Store — a math, logic and coding‑concept challenge app published by KheniTech (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Equation X is operated by KheniTech, a sole proprietorship of Kheni Dharmesh Tulshibhai (GSTIN 24CAFPK6077E1ZR, Udyam UDYAM-GJ-22-0445790), 3rd Floor, Plot 15, Sangana Row House, P-1, Shyam Dham Chowk, Punagam, Surat, Gujarat 395006, India. Contact: contact@khenitech.com.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the app. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, use the app with the permission of a parent or guardian.
You sign in using email or Google, and on iPhone and iPad also with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it. Provide accurate information and let us know of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings first (see section 7).
The app is a fair, competitive game. You agree not to:
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.
Answers are validated on our servers and scores, levels, streaks and duel outcomes are determined by us. We may correct, reset, or remove scores affected by errors, bugs, or cheating. Duel outcomes (including forfeits) are final as recorded by the app.
Free to play. Equation X is currently free: once you sign in you can answer every available challenge, earn points and play 1‑v‑1 duels without paying. An account is needed because your progress, duels and leaderboard position are tied to it.
The app, its challenges, design, and content are owned by KheniTech and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose.
What other players see. Your display name, profile photo (if your sign‑in account has one), points and duel results are visible to other players, for example on the leaderboard and in duels. Anyone who knows the email address of your account can invite you to a duel; the app does not show your email address to them. We may change a display name that breaks section 3.
With your permission, the app may send push notifications about duels. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.
The app does not currently sell anything. We may in future offer Equation X Premium, an optional auto‑renewing monthly subscription for answering challenges and playing duels; browsing would stay free. This section applies only if Premium is offered in the app and you choose to subscribe. Premium is purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play at the price shown in the app in your local currency. There is no free trial. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel in time: on the App Store, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; on Google Play, before the renewal date.
Managing it. You can manage or cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings (while Premium is offered, Profile → Subscription → Manage subscription opens that page). Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for and is not refunded for the remainder. If a renewal payment fails, the store may keep your access for a short grace period while it retries; if payment is not recovered, access ends. Use Restore Purchases on the paywall or in your profile if you reinstall or change devices and your subscription is not recognised.
Refunds and prices. App Store refunds are decided and processed by Apple under its own policies; we cannot issue them. For Google Play purchases you can ask Google under its refund policy, or contact us at contact@khenitech.com. Where the law of the country where you live gives you a right to withdraw from a digital purchase, it is handled through the store's process; by starting to use Premium straight away you may lose that right where the law allows. We may change the subscription price; the store will notify you in advance and, where required, ask you to agree before the new price applies. Your subscription is tied to your app‑store account, not to your Equation X account, so deleting your Equation X account does not cancel it (section 2).
Purchases on iOS are also governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and purchases on Android by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Play’s payments terms. Subscription and purchase data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that scores and data will always be preserved.
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of the app is also subject to those stores' terms, and the app store providers are not responsible for the app, its content, or any support.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KheniTech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. The app is a game provided for entertainment; our total liability to you is limited to the greater of (a) any fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and (b) ₹4,000 (about US$50). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms or misuse the app. Where it is reasonable and safe, we will tell you why, and you can contest the decision at contact@khenitech.com. If we decide to discontinue the app, we will give at least 30 days’ notice in the app. If we terminate your account for a breach, any remaining subscription period is not refunded by us, and you remain responsible for cancelling the subscription with the store. If we discontinue the app or Premium, we will stop renewals and any refund for an unused period is handled by the store.
We may update these Terms from time to time, and the “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you continue to use the app after that, the updated Terms apply.
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Surat, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection that the law of the country where you live gives you, including any right to bring a claim in your local courts.
